Week In Review Last of 2017!!

Happy New Year!! I hope you are enjoying New Year Day's celebrations... right now I'm desperately searching for my sons glasses, I will do anything to save $$$ on new glasses, wish me luck!

Workouts
Tuesday- 3 miles
Wednesday - 5 miles
Thursday - 5 miles

Monday we woke up to presents under the Christmas tree for my son, and my nieces... ( *** Short story, while we were opening presents, I found out that one of my brothers gave my son the same  Lego Set that Santa was going to be delivering the next Morning, a quick message was sent to Santa to make a swap. As my son said many years ago " Who needs Santa when you have Tias ?"  My sister came to the rescue and found a present she was saving for my son's birthday and made the swap with Santa. *** )

The kids and their presents from Santa

We were supposed to run, but we got super lazy and watched tv all day instead. It's the holidays, and whatever ! On Christmas Day we watch Happy Endings, and laugh our day away.

Tuesdays was a difficult day to get up for work... after 4 days off, I couldn't find motivation to get up. But I was 1 of 4 people going into the office. After work, we ran 3 miles to see the last of the Christmas lights. And my co-worker gave me a coffee mug!

On Wednesday my ex-husband made a strange request, he wanted to keep our son longer than he was supposed to... and he made my son ask for permission... he knew I would not say no to him. I was in a weird mood after that, and didn't want to do anything. Plus it was really cold, and I was very tired. But I talked myself into running 5 miles in the cold. It felt good to run, and Roger and I rewarder ourselves with burgers. He did a hard work out at the gym.

I lost track of what day it was after the run.... so whatever the next day was, we wen to see Justice League, it was ok. Wonder Woman was amazing, Ben Affleck was anoying and Ezra Miller was so funny!

Friday, the Governor closed down the state office, and we were allowed to leave work at noon!! It was so nice to leave work early!

We spent the weekend in Rehoboth, just to get away for a couple of days. It was so cold!!

Now are are siping wine, waiting for the countdown and making our New Years hats.

Happy New Year!! I hope you are enjoying your holiday and are ready to tackle 2018!!! You will rock the New Year!!

    1. We didn't do much in Rehoboth, it was so cold! We went to the bookstore and had coffee, we went to the coffee shop across the street and had more coffee. I went to the Nike Outlets and bought a pair of shorts and sneakers for my son. When we go to Rehoboth all we really do is eat and have coffee, especially in the winter. I say that Roger feels a calling to the beach, because he grew up near the beach.

    1. It was ok... I hadn't planned to watch it, but my son wanted to see it. I just can't stand Ben Affleck, he is so annoying.

  4. Making new year's hats sounds like a fun tradition! I haven't seen Justice League yet but I haven't heard great things. We may just save that for Netflix.

    1. We have been making hats for years! it's an old tradition by now.

It was just ok, I could have used more Wonder Woman and less Ben Affleck.
