I'm joining the Friday 5 Link up with Running on Happy & Fairytales and Fitness. The Theme for today is Summer Workouts... But I'm not very good at giving advice, so bear with me as I tell you the things I love to do in the summer. Check out the link up for real summer tips from real experts!!
1. Hiking- I know that hiking can be a year round activity, but it is so much more enjoyable when all the trees are covered with leaves and we can hear all the birds singing... other than the crows in winter.
2. Early Morning running - I am ready to accept that I am a Morning fair weather runner. I enjoy getting up early on the days that the sun is already up and running before work. And the summer is the time I'm most committed to the morning running.
4. Eating Ice cream- I never feel guilty about eating ice cream, and in the summer, it feels like a requirement to keep the body temperature even!
5. The Sun and warmth - I was spoiled growing up in Mexico. Our weather was beautiful year round, so I love all the sun and all the warm temperatures in the summer. Even when it gets really hot, I will remind myself that from December - March, it will be cold and dark.
