Last Friday Five of 2017
Happy Friday!! Last Friday of 2017! What an amazing year!
I'm Linking up with the Friday five 2.0 ladies at Fairytales and Fitness and Running on Happy .
Life is awesome, I'm very privileged and lucky to have all the things I have and my health. While it's hard to narrow amazing moments down to 5 events, I want to highlight 5 awesome experiences of this year, I no particular order.
1. Seeing my son's face as he saw Bushkill Falls- This year my son has been more into hiking, so we took the opportunity and took him to Bushkill falls in the summer. The look on his face when we saw the main waterfall was amazing! I will not easily forget the amusement on his eyes.
2. Running a Half Marathon on Mother's day- Just because I'm a mom, doesn't mean I want to wake up to a home-made breakfast and flowers... those are nice, but I prefer to wake up to running a half marathon. So many things about the Delaware Running festival made this race memorable for me, the scenery of the city, seeing my brothers waiting for me at the finish line, and the delicious post race pizza!
3. Welcoming my niece to the world- This summer, my older sister made an addition to their family and they welcomed my niece into the world. She is the cutest little bundle of joy!!
4. My Sister Got married -My older sister has been wanting a big wedding for as long as I can remember.... this year, she finally got married. It wasn't big, but she enjoyed her big moment.... I mean THEIR big moment.
5. Passing my citizenship test- It has been a long road to citizenship!! But this past August I passed my citizenship test, and as of this moment, I'm just getting for my swearing in ceremony to be schedule... any day now!!
Happy New Year!! I hope the New Year brings you and your loved ones amazing adventures!!
